Why is file access denied when backing up to a CD?

 

If you are using the CD as you would a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk, the CD must be CD-RW and must be formatted. This error generally occurs on unformatted CD's.

I am a 73 and ½ years old and computer illiterate. Last week, my 12 year old computer not only crashed, but collapsed. I have been using the cash manager program for some years in my business. I have now purchased another computer and at the time, the computer shop transferred as much of my old information across to the new one. However, I was told I had to re install the cash manger program which I did yesterday. However, I could not open any of my reports. I phoned accomplish customer service and was put in touch with Eugene Hawkins in NZ who provided technical support. I wish to place on record my sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided. Eugene spent the best part of an hour finding and rectifying my problem.
